{iPhone} Casing the Joint.

Nothing rattles me quite like over-sleeping. Seriously. I know that for a fact.

Because this morning I overslept for AN HOUR and woke up with 20 minutes to not only get ready, but also get through traffic and get my butt to my desk.

And, well, I made it folks. I’m kind of awesome. Under-caffeinated, unwashed, and mildly disheveled, but awesome.

In my defense, it is not my fault that I overslept. I blame my new phone.

Last week, the screen of my phone suddenly just stopped working. Or rather, the button on top of the phone that turned the screen on and off stopped working. To get the screen to light up, I had to either plug the phone into a charger (or, inversely, unplug it) or take the battery out and restart the phone.

IT WAS A BARREL OF LAUGHS. Slash, awful.

I was also due for an upgrade from Verizon, so last Tuesday (the day we departed for our Vegas trip, actually), Joey went to the Verizon store and got me…an iPhone!!

I’m still figuring it out, honestly. After a couple of years with a Droid, there are some things I like better about the iPhone, but some things I’m not sure how I feel about yet. I’ll keep you posted on my final assessments.

One silly, totally frivolous perk to owning an iPhone? The cases.

If you spend any time in the blog world, you’ve probably noticed that iPhone cases are the new hot accessory. With virtually every designer, as well as a host of Etsy sellers and other sources coming out with their own designs, there’s a case to suit every style.

Currently, I have a pink and grey Otterbox Defender Case, which is super practical but not always fashionable. Basically, a girl needs a little variety.

Here’s a round-up of the ones I have my eye on:
